Primetime Basketball with a Strong Showing at NY State Championship

Playing in their first AAU tournament, the Primetime 11u Boys team demonstrated they are ready to compete. They had a strong showing in their pool play, finishing 3-0. They showed toughness in their first game of pool play, fighting back from a 12 point deficit in the second half against Lighting-Rothman. Unfortunately, the Championship game was not played and won due to forfeit, but the guys were ready to take on a tough Queens Python team.

The Primetime 13u Boys made their way through pool play undefeated and continued that streak in the playoff round. They battled through a tough Championship game consisting of multiple lead changes, but made some key plays down the stretch to secure the Win.

The Primetime 12u Boys, unfortunately were on the wrong side of two buzzer beating shots that limited their chances to exit pool play. Their first game against a taller Riverside Hawks game felt like a late round March Madness game. Back to back threes down the stretch, an And-1 to tie the game, and only to fall to a buzzer beater three by the Hawks. They continued to battle through the rest of the tournament losing a Double Overtime game to Edge Athletics and hard fought game against East Coast Panthers.
